• Instrumentation and control was two different terms.
• This both term play a significant role in chemical,agrochemical,petrochemical,dairy,food industries etc.
• "Instrumentation" means,which gather information from the field.
• "Control" means,to changing the field parameters like flow,pressure,level,temperature.
• Instrument which is mounted in the plant to gather data from the field in which different types of instrument is used like valves,flowmeters,pressure transmitter,temperature transmitter,level transmitter etc.
• By using control system or controller we can control or changing the field parameters.
• In large manufacturing industries DCS (Distributed control system) is used and in small scale industries PLC (Programmable logic controller) is used.
• The goal of an IC engineer is to improving productivity,optimization,stability,reliability etc.
• A IC engineer is responsible for installing,designing,developing,managing and maintaining equipment which is used to control engineering system,process and machinery.
